MCS Group are looking for a Tax Technician / Senior to join a well-established accountancy practice based in Belfast.

The Role:

As the successful Tax Technician / Senior you will have the following responsibilities:

• Prepare and complete Corporation Tax and Personal Tax returns, reviewing work completed by junior team members.
• Support the efficient delivery of Corporate and Personal Tax services across a varied client portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering a high standard of service.
• Develop relationships internally and externally, identifying opportunities to add value and support business growth.
• Act as a proactive member of the tax team, managing day-to-day client communication and queries.

The Person:

The successful Tax Technician / Senior will meet the following criteria:

• Tax experience within an accountancy practice.
• ATT/ATI qualified or working towards qualification.Will consider ACA/ACCA part-qualified or QBE with relevant tax experience
• Strong Personal and Corporation Tax compliance experience.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work to strict deadlines.
• Confident in building relationships and dealing directly with clients.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a hands-on practice environment.
