Senior Revenue Accountant - Belfast (Hybrid)

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a high-growth, publicly listed technology business, looking to recruit a Senior Revenue Accountant to join their established Finance function in Belfast on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Company:

Our client is a US-headquartered technology business specialising in SaaS and AI solutions for professional and financial services firms globally.

The Belfast Finance function acts as a key global hub, supporting a range of specialist areas including Accounting, Revenue, External Reporting, Tax and Audit. As the business continues to grow, this is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced technology environment with strong exposure to US GAAP, ASC 606 and SOX.

Job Duties of the Senior Revenue Accountant include:

• Own part of the revenue close process
• Review deals and contracts, including revenue recognition under ASC 606
• Handle month-end journals, reconciliations and variance analysis
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
• Support audits, financial statements and SOX controls
• Work closely with Finance, Sales and Legal on process improvements

What you need to be the Successful Senior Revenue Accountant

• ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified / active CPA candidate, or equivalent
• Accounting experience, ideally Big 4 or Big 4 and industry
• Strong GAAP, ASC 606 and SOX knowledge
• Strong NetSuite, BlackLine and Excel skills; Salesforce desirable
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Good communication skills and comfortable working with wider Finance and business teams
