Senior Analyst, External Reporting - Belfast (Hybrid)

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a high-growth, publicly listed technology business, looking to recruit a Senior Analyst, External Reporting to join their Finance function in Belfast on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Company:

Our client is a US-headquartered technology business specialising in AI and intelligence software for professional and financial services firms globally.

The Belfast Finance team is part of a wider global function, supporting areas including Accounting, Revenue, External Reporting, Tax and Audit. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing public company and gain strong exposure to US GAAP, SEC reporting and technical accounting.

Job Duties of the Senior Analyst, External Reporting include:

• Prepare stock-based compensation analysis under US GAAP
• Support quarterly and annual SEC filings
• Pull together schedules for financial statements, earnings releases and investor materials
• Get involved in technical accounting and reporting projects
• Work with teams across Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal and Investor Relations
• Help improve reporting processes and automation

What you need to be the Successful Senior Analyst, External Reporting

• Qualified Accountant - ACA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent.
• Big 4 experience is desirable
• Strong US GAAP and financial reporting knowledge
• Experience with internal controls and financial reporting processes
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable managing competing priorities and tight deadlines
• Shareworks, Workiva and NetSuite experience desirable
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
