Cash Allocation Clerk

MCS Group is pleased to partner with a global organisation based in Dunmurry they are seeking a talented Cash Allocation Clerk to join their dynamic team as they continue to expand.

The Company:

Our client is a global manufacturing business based in the greater Belfast area, with multiple offices across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. As a market leader within its sector, the company manufactures a diverse range of products for a global customer base.

This is an exciting time to join the Belfast finance function as they look to appoint a Cash Allocation Clerk - this is a great starting role for someone - whether you are a graduate or an experienced administrator looking a step into finance.

The Rewards:

As the successful Cash Allocation Clerk, you will receive:

• Salary: £26,500 - £28,000

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Cash Allocation Clerk, you will be responsible for:

• Allocation of cash receipts and reconciliation of customer accounts
• Resolve customer queries with tact and diplomacy, through to a satisfactory resolution
• Check credit note, and journal request forms and relevant paperwork are in order for approvals e.g. vat credit requests, withholding tax, refunds
• Ensure all documentation is electronically stored to customer/dept folders in a timely manner to minimise hard copy paperwork
• Any other duties outlined in the job description

The Person:

The successful Cash Allocation Clerk you will meet the following criteria:

• Previously finance experience or a recent graduate
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is desirable.
