Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Analyst
Location: Belfast / Manchester / London
Salary: £27,000 - £38,000
Working Pattern: Flexible / Hybrid Working
MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a growing specialist consultancy to recruit a Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business that works with leading organisations across the financial services sector, helping them identify, assess and manage risks associated with their third-party suppliers.
With continued investment and increasing client demand, the business is expanding its consulting and managed services teams. You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of client engagements, gaining exposure to supplier risk management, operational resilience, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.
This role would suit someone with an interest or existing experience in third-party risk, supplier assurance, governance or compliance who is looking to develop their career within a specialist consulting environment.
The Role
As a TPRM Analyst, you'll play an important role in supporting the delivery of supplier risk assessments and consulting engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Working alongside experienced consultants, you'll help organisations understand their third-party risk exposure, evaluate supplier controls and identify opportunities to strengthen risk management processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting supplier screening and third-party risk assessments across a range of client engagements.
Reviewing supplier information, evaluating control effectiveness and identifying potential risks across cybersecurity, operational resilience, financial stability and compliance.
Supporting the design, development and implementation of third-party risk management frameworks and operating models.
Engaging directly with clients and suppliers to gather information, coordinate assessments and support remediation activities.
Producing clear assessment reports, documenting findings and presenting recommendations to stakeholders.
Supporting process reviews, operational improvements and wider consulting projects.
Tracking assessment progress, maintaining accurate records and producing management information for client reporting.
Collaborating with consultants and senior stakeholders to deliver projects within agreed timelines.
The Person
We're keen to speak with candidates who have an interest in risk management, enjoy problem-solving and are comfortable working in a collaborative, client-facing environment.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Experience or a strong interest in Third-Party Risk Management, supplier assurance, governance, risk or compliance.
An understanding of risk assessments, internal controls or supplier due diligence processes.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review information, identify risks and communicate findings clearly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence engaging with clients and external stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to adapt to a fast-paced consulting environment.
Good attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate documentation and reports.
Experience within financial services, professional services or consulting would be advantageous, although candidates from other backgrounds with transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of cybersecurity, operational resilience, data protection or recognised risk management frameworks would also be beneficial.
What's on Offer?
Salary of £27,000 - £38,000, depending on experience.
Flexible and hybrid working arrangements, with remote delivery forming a significant part of the role.
Exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients, including major financial services organisations.
Opportunity to develop specialist expertise across third-party risk, supplier assurance and consulting.
Structured onboarding, mentoring and ongoing professional development.
Clear career progression opportunities into Consultant, Senior Consultant and beyond.
A collaborative, supportive environment with a flat management structure and direct access to experienced leadership.
The opportunity to join an established consultancy during an exciting period of growth.
Why Apply?
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in third-party risk management.
Unlike larger corporate environments where responsibilities can become narrowly defined, this role offers exposure to multiple clients, different risk disciplines and a broad range of consulting projects.
You'll be joining a business that values initiative, professional development and flexibility, with genuine opportunities to take on greater responsibility as your experience grows.
