I'm so excited to be working exclusively with a homegrown consultancy that is partnering with one of the biggest names in Financial Services to find an experienced Delivery Manager for a day-rate contract.

This role would suit someone who began their career in a hands-on technical position, such as software development, engineering or technical architecture, before moving into technical delivery management.

You'll lead the delivery of complex technology initiatives, working across engineering teams, business stakeholders and third-party partners to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

The role

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects
• Manage delivery plans, timelines, budgets, risks and dependencies
• Work closely with engineering teams, architects and technical leads
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, external vendors and delivery partners
• Identify and resolve technical or delivery challenges
• Provide clear updates to senior stakeholders
• Support Agile delivery while maintaining strong governance and accountability
• Ensure projects meet the required quality, security and regulatory standards

What we're looking for

• Strong experience managing technology delivery within banking or financial services
• Previous hands-on technical experience before moving into delivery management
• A solid understanding of software development and technology delivery
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering and technical teams
• Strong stakeholder, vendor and risk management skills
• Comfortable working across both technical detail and senior-level reporting
• Experience delivering within a complex, regulated environment
• Agile and Waterfall delivery experience
