Senior Quantity Surveyor

MCS Group is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for our client, a growing infrastructure and engineering business operating across Europe. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business working across energy, renewables and data centre projects, playing a key role in strengthening the commercial function and supporting ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects commercially from tender through to final account
• Monitor costs, margins, forecasts and overall financial performance
• Manage valuations, variations, change control and subcontractor costs
• Support tendering, procurement and commercial reporting
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities
• Provide commercial insight to senior management
• Help develop commercial processes as the business continues to grow

About You

• Proven Quantity Surveying experience within construction, engineering or infrastructure
• Strong commercial and financial awareness
• Experience managing projects from tender through to final account
• NEC contract experience is highly desirable
• Electrical, MEP/MEICA or infrastructure experience is preferred
• Energy, renewables, data centre or wider infrastructure experience is desirable
• Strong communication and commercial negotiation skills
• Candidates from QS through to Managing QS level will be considered
