Senior Mobile QA Engineer

Location: Belfast

Are you a Senior QA Engineer with strong experience testing iOS and Android applications?

We're working with a growing technology business in Belfast that is looking for a Senior Mobile QA Engineer to take ownership of mobile quality across its products.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with Engineering, Product, Platform and Research teams, helping to make sure new features are properly tested, issues are identified early and releases are delivered to a high standard.

What you'll be doing

• Take ownership of QA across iOS and Android.
• Plan and execute manual, exploratory, regression and release testing.
• Identify, reproduce and manage defects through to resolution.
• Work closely with developers and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Get involved in sprint planning and help prioritise QA activity based on risk.
• Test REST APIs using tools such as Postman.
• Validate backend data and integrations using SQL and structured data.
• Contribute to automated testing across mobile applications and APIs.

What we're looking for

You'll ideally have:

• 5+ years' experience in QA, with experience at Senior or Lead level.
• Strong hands-on experience testing both iOS and Android.
• Experience working in a fast-paced product or engineering environment.
• Strong manual, exploratory and regression testing experience.
• Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data validation.
• Understanding of backend integrations, ETL/data pipelines and structured data.
• Experience with automated testing across mobile applications and/or APIs.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to prioritise effectively and take ownership.
