Senior Cyber Security Consultant (GRC)

MCS Group is proud to be working with an established technology services business that is growing its cyber consultancy offering in Ireland.

This is a customer-facing advisory role rather than a hands-on technical cybersecurity position. It would suit someone from a consultancy background who can lead engagements covering cyber governance, risk, compliance and operational resilience.

(Hybrid Dublin - 3 days per week on-site)

The role will involve:

• Leading customer engagements from discovery through to delivery and executive reporting
• Conducting cyber risk, maturity and regulatory gap assessments
• Advising customers on NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, NIST CSF and CIS Controls
• Facilitating workshops with boards, senior leaders and risk owners
• Producing practical improvement plans and remediation roadmaps
• Supporting proposals, pre-sales activity and the development of junior consultants

You should have substantial cyber consultancy or advisory experience, strong knowledge of the Irish and EU regulatory landscape, and the confidence to work directly with senior customer stakeholders.

CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer certifications would be beneficial.

The position requires three days per week on-site in Dublin, alongside some customer travel across Ireland. Applicants must have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland. Competitive salary up to 85k per annum plus benefits.
