MCS are delighted to be working with an established and forward thinking engineering business. This is a key role within the business, supporting the sales function and ensuring data is accurate, quotes keep moving, customer information is up to date, and sales and production have the information they need to deliver high quality work.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & MRP Management

• Accurately enter and maintain sales data within the MRP system
• Keep customer, pricing and job information accurate, current and audit-ready
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Sales Manager

• Maintain, cleanse and improve CRM data
• Ensure customer records, contacts and opportunities are accurate and up to date
• Support reporting and pipeline visibility through high-quality data

• Assist with RFQ management to support timely and accurate quotations
• Research new or unusual materials, coatings and manufacturing processes
• Liaise with internal teams and external contacts to gather technical and commercial information

Essential skills and experience:

• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience working with CRM systems and high-volume data
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Desirable experience:

• Manufacturing, engineering or technical sales experience
• Exposure to MRP or ERP systems
• Familiarity with quoting or RFQ processes
• An interest in engineering, materials or manufacturing processes
