Residential Pricing Analyst - 6 - 9 Months Contract - Dublin

The Role:

As a member of the pricing team, the role of the Residential Pricing Analyst will be supporting the business to provide innovative and competitive products and prices across all market sectors and requires strong analytical skills. This requires interaction with all areas of the business in setting and communication of residential electricity and gas prices in ROI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working in a dynamic environment setting electricity and gas prices for residential customers in ROI using cost and market-based pricing methodologies and forecasts.
  • Work as a team in the pricing process by collaborating with the wider Strategy, Products Proposition, Pricing, Trading and Finance teams to agree the inputs to the price stack and agree timelines
  • Prepare the price stacks for the price change This involves a detailed price review and changes as required including customer impact analysis of price changes and pricing of products.
  • Be competent in analysing the tariffs for profitability and be able prepare tariff related queries and enquiries for both internal and external customers.

  • Analyse competitors offers' in electricity and gas
  • Pricing inputs to Sales Reports, Budgeting, Quarterly
  • Support testing and process documentation required in delivering the systems
  • Ability to gather business requirements and input to functional specifications for pricing systems
  • Ability to define and run test scripts and validate results.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • 4 years numerical or analytical work
  • Experienced and competent in the use of computer-based modelling packages and in the use of complex Excel spreadsheets.
  • Proven track record of understanding complex issues with many influencing
  • Excellent numeracy, analytical
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Attention to detail with ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining
  • Good communication and presentation
  • Innovative and is a self-
  • Strong team working
  • Strong customer service

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Electric Ireland tariffs and price
  • Knowledge of the retail and/or wholesale energy
  • Previous experience in delivering system
  • Previous experience in Electricity and Gas modelling
  • Regulatory knowledge

Legal permission to work in the Republic of Ireland.
