Quality Manager

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Quality Manager for our client, a leading manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality professional to take ownership of quality systems, drive continuous improvement and work closely with production and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and continually improve the Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, BRC/IOP and HACCP standards.
• Manage audits, non-conformances, corrective actions and quality documentation.
• Work closely with Production and Maintenance to resolve quality issues.
• Deliver quality training and monitor production quality standards.
• Support customer, supplier and external audits.
• Manage quality testing and equipment calibration.
• Drive continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.
• Contribute to wider Health & Safety and Environmental responsibilities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Quality Management, QA or QC role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP and BRC.
• Experience with external audits and non-conformance management.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Experience leading teams and delivering training.
• Manufacturing/production experience advantageous.
• LEAN, Environmental or H&S experience desirable.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work fully on-site, Monday to Friday.
