Project Manager

Experienced in business advisory, developing business cases and managing grant-funded initiatives? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Business Development team, providing strategic advice, supporting the development and delivery of business cases, and overseeing grant-funded projects from planning through to evaluation.

MCS Group are proud to be partnering with an organisation in their search for a Project Manager. This role is ideal for a commercially aware professional with strong business advisory and project delivery experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to manage grant-funded initiatives and deliver meaningful outcomes.

The Role:
* Manage the delivery of projects and programmes from design through to evaluation and continuous improvement.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Oversee project governance, financial management, and accountability processes.
* Prepare and manage project budgets with a high level of accuracy.
* Lead procurement activities and manage external suppliers and specialists.
* Deliver reports and presentations to senior leaders, boards, and external audiences.
* Support and supervise staff while promoting effective cross-team collaboration.

The Person

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Essential:
* Experience managing projects or programmes, including budgets and performance monitoring.
* Strong decision-making skills with the ability to work autonomously.
* Experience implementing effective project controls and governance processes.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
