Project Manager

Ready to take the lead on projects that make a real impact? This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to shape and deliver a range of initiatives, build strong stakeholder relationships, manage budgets and governance, and support continuous improvement across key programmes.

MCS Group are proud to be partnering with an organisation in their search for a Project Manager to join their Business Development team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for a proactive and commercially aware professional with strong project delivery experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to oversee funded initiatives from planning through to evaluation.

The Role:

• Managing the delivery of projects and programmes from design through to evaluation and continuous improvement
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholder
• Overseeing project governance, financial management, and accountability processes
• Preparing and managing budgets with a high level of accuracy
• Leading procurement activities and managing external suppliers and specialists
• Delivering reports and presentations to senior leaders, boards, and external audiences
• Supporting and supervising staff while promoting effective cross-team collaboration

The Person

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Essential:

• At least 3 year's experience managing projects or programmes, including budgets and performance monitoring
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work autonomously
• Experience implementing effective project controls and governance processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High level of IT proficiency, including CRM/database systems
• A third-level qualification or equivalent professional experience

Location: County Down (Hybrid)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Contract: Full-time temporary assignment
