Production Team Leader

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an established pharmaceutical manufacturer to recruit a Production Team Leader.

This is an opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader who enjoys developing others and improving operational performance.

The role

• Lead, coach and develop Process Leads, setting clear expectations and holding them accountable for results.
• Translate production plans into clear priorities, supporting delivery against output, yield and Right First Time targets.
• Remove operational barriers and work closely with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, HR and other support teams.
• Drive continuous improvement across productivity, efficiency and cost.
• Develop leadership capability in performance management, attendance, employee wellbeing and team development.

What you'll need

• A relevant scientific or engineering degree, equivalent qualification, or substantial experience within pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing.
• Significant experience leading and developing people managers or front-line leaders in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Practical experience managing performance, attendance, conduct and employee development.
