Looking for your next temporary opportunity in Procurement? Join a busy procurement function where you'll play a key role in supporting procurement projects, delivering value for money, and ensuring high-quality, compliant procurement activity across a large organisation.

The Role:

· Deliver efficient and compliant procurement activity in line with legislation, policy, and best practice.

· Support Category Managers and stakeholders across procurement projects and programmes.

· Develop procurement and commercial strategies using market intelligence and category knowledge.

· Identify and advise on procurement and commercial risks, supporting appropriate mitigations.

· Prepare and review high-quality procurement and tender documentation.

· Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide procurement advice.

· Support contract management, supplier performance, and the delivery of value for money.

The Person

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Essential:

· Experience working within a procurement function or department in a large organisation.

· Proven experience delivering procurement benefits, including savings, efficiencies, sustainability, and cost avoidance.

· Practical experience managing end-to-end tender exercises, from identifying requirements through to contract award, including experience using online tendering portals.

· Studying towards CIPS Level 4, or a commitment to complete this within two years of appointment.
