Plotly UI Engineer

UI Engineer | Plotly | Day Rate Contract

Dublin City Centre | 2 days onsite per week

6-month contract

We're recruiting a UI Engineer with Plotly experience to build interactive dashboards and applications for data, analytics and AI solutions.

You'll turn complex datasets and model outputs into clear, usable interfaces, working closely with data scientists, data engineers and stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

• Building interactive dashboards using Plotly, Plotly.js and Dash.

• Developing reusable UI components and responsive, accessible interfaces.

• Connecting applications to APIs, databases and cloud data platforms.

• Creating interfaces for AI solutions, including document review tools and chat agents.

• Improving performance when displaying large datasets.

• Running demonstrations, gathering feedback and refining applications.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience building production dashboards or applications with Plotly, Plotly.js or Dash.

• Strong Python and JavaScript or TypeScript skills.

• Experience with HTML, CSS and a modern framework such as React.

• Experience integrating SQL databases, REST APIs and cloud data sources.

• A good understanding of data visualisation, UX and accessibility.

• Familiarity with Git, testing and CI/CD.

Experience with Databricks, AI interfaces, Azure/AWS or containerised deployment would be beneficial.
