Payments Technical Business Analyst

I'm working with a leading organisation on an urgent requirement for a Technical Business Analyst with strong banking and payments experience.
This is an initial 6-month contract based in Dublin City Centre, with a high likelihood of extension.
The role will involve working across business and technology teams to gather and analyse requirements, translate these into clear user stories and support delivery through the full project lifecycle.
The Role
- Gathering and documenting requirements across business, product and technical teams
Translating business requirements into user stories, process flows and technical documentation
Reviewing SWIFT, SEPA and other regulatory rulebooks to understand the impact of upcoming changes
Leading requirements walkthroughs and ensuring requirements are clearly understood
Working closely with solution architects, vendors and delivery teams through implementation
Analysing existing payment processes and identifying gaps and improvements
Acting as the link between business and IT throughout delivery
Requirments:
Strong Technical Business Analyst experience within banking and payments
In-depth knowledge of low-value, high-value and cross-border payments
Experience with SEPA, SWIFT, ISO 20022 and Instant Payments
Knowledge of payment regulations and initiatives including PSD2, Open Banking, CBPR+, TARGET payments and SEPA Direct Debit
Strong understanding of payment messaging schemas and formats
Experience reading and interpreting regulatory or legislative documentation
Strong stakeholder management, documentation and communication skills
Ability to lead payments-focused discussions across business and technical teams
This is a payments-heavy role, so you must have hands-on experience within the payments domain to apply.
