Mid-Level Web Developer

Omagh - On-site / Hybrid flexibility

Salary: Up to £35,000

The Opportunity

We are delighted to be partnering with a well established organisation as they seek to appoint a Mid-Level Web Developer to join their team in Omagh.

The business is currently undergoing a significant digital transformation, investing in its websites and digital platforms to improve customer experience and drive online revenue.

This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to take ownership of multiple websites, work closely with key stakeholders and play an important role in shaping the organisation's digital future.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you'll be responsible for the ongoing development, maintenance and optimisation of the organisation's websites.

With several projects planned over the coming years, there is genuine scope to take on additional responsibility and progress into a more senior development role.

Key Requirements

  • 2-3 years' commercial experience in a Web Developer or similar role.

  • Experience with WordPress or another content management system.

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.

  • Understanding of e-commerce functionality, online purchasing journeys and third-party integrations.

  • Experience with subscription-based websites or paywalls

  • Ability to take ownership of development projects and see them through to completion.

  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to work alongside technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.

What's on Offer?

  • 29 days' annual leave, including bank holidays.

  • Pension scheme and life cover.

  • Opportunity to take ownership of a newly created development function.

  • Genuine career progression opportunities as the digital team expands.

  • Hybrid working may be considered for candidates travelling from further afield, following an initial on-site period.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Web Developer looking to take on greater ownership, contribute to meaningful projects and develop their career within an organisation investing in its digital capabilities.
