Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer

MCS Group is partnering with a growing business that is investing in technology and building a new team to develop software products for its customers.

This is an opportunity for a mid-level engineer with AI experience to join early, take ownership of features and help shape how the team works.

The opportunity

You'll work across the full development lifecycle, from understanding user needs and building prototypes to developing, testing and launching solutions.

AI-assisted development tools will be part of your day-to-day workflow, alongside a strong focus on building secure, reliable and maintainable software.

Your work will include:

• Developing features across the frontend and backend.

• Working with users and stakeholders to understand requirements.

• Building prototypes and refining solutions based on feedback.

• Using AI tools to support development and explore product ideas.

• Deploying and supporting cloud-based applications.

• Contributing to technical decisions and development practices.

What we're looking for

• Commercial experience in full-stack software development.

• Practical AI experience is essential.

• Experience with AI tooling, large language models (LLMs) or AI-powered features is highly desirable.

• Confidence working with modern frontend and backend technologies.

• Experience with cloud platforms and software deployment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and sound engineering fundamentals.

• Good communication skills and a willingness to take ownership.
