The Role:

Working as a senior member of the team, as the successful Management Accountant you will combine hands-on accounting expertise with business leadership, while supporting the Head of Finance and Operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Execute all accounting activity in the general ledgers for multiple currencies across multiple companies in multiple locations
• Liaise with external parties including Payroll, External Accountants, clients, Procurement and Finance functions
• Manage debtors, supplier accounts and payroll
• Provide commentary on results, highlighting areas for attention and recommendations of next actions
• Work on client proposals and government tenders to provide input to and challenge of costings and profit projections
• Assist in the preparation of full interim and year-end management accounts
• Play a key role in leading the design of process automation

The Person:

The successful Management Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a management accountant in a similar finance role
• Qualified Accountant or QBE
• Be able to engage effectively with a number of stakeholders
• Very strong communication and written presentation skills
• Very proficient in Microsoft office, especially Excel and technology literate
• Awareness of commercial considerations and risks, challenging where appropriate
• Able to critically examine processes and procedure and have the confidence to make recommendations for improvements
