Dublin City Centre (3-4 Days p/w)
€500 - €600 per day

I am currently recruiting for a Lead Python Engineer to join a high-performing FinTech organisation based in Dublin City Centre. This role is hybrid 3-4 days per week with free breakfast & lunch daily.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will be responsible for driving the design and delivery of key platform initiatives while leading a small team engineers (50/50)

The Role:

• Lead the development and delivery of scalable Python based applications

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers

• Drive engineering best practice, code quality and technical standards

• Work closely with Product, Architecture and wider technology teams

• Contribute hands-on to design, development and code reviews

• Support the evolution of a modern cloud-based engineering environment

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience developing software with Python

• Previous experience leading or mentoring engineering teams

• Experience designing and delivering scalable backend systems

• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices and distributed architectures

• Cloud experience (AWS)

• Experience working within fast-paced Agile environments

• Banking, financial services or fintech sector experience
