I'm currently recruiting for a Learning & Development Officer to join a well-established, forward-thinking organisation in Belfast, supporting learning and development across a large workforce.
The Role
Working as part of a dedicated team, you'll play a key role in managing training compliance, maintaining learning systems and supporting the development of online and professional learning programmes.
The key responsibilities:
- Managing and maintaining the virtual learning environment & LMS
- Creating and updating e-learning courses and modules
- Troubleshooting issues with the learning platform
- Monitoring training compliance and producing reports
- Coordinating mandatory training schedules
- Supporting the design and implementation of professional development programmes
- Liaising with managers, internal teams and external training providers
- Coordinating face-to-face and online training
- Supporting compliance reporting and training administration
- Building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
The ideal candidate
- CIPD L&D or relevant qualification
- Previous experience in a Learning & Development focused role
- Experience within training, education or a similar environment
- Experience using an online learning platform/ Learning Management System
- Experience developing e-learning content
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders
- A proactive, flexible and problem-solving approach
