IT Support Engineer - Immediate Start Available

MCS Group is looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support to internal users within a fast-paced environment.

This is a 3-month temporary position, ideal for someone who is immediately available, or due to be available in coming weeks. The client anticipates a quick turnaround and a virtually immediate start!

Please note: Due to the multi-site/travel requirements of the role, candidates must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

The Role

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support to internal users
• Troubleshoot hardware, devices and software issues
• Investigate and resolve technical problems efficiently
• Support user accounts, including password resets and access issues
• Provide basic networking support and troubleshooting
• Assist with device setup, configuration and general desktop support

The Person

• Given the nature of the role, applicants should be able to demonstrate strong experience in a similar role.
• Experience in an L1/L2 IT support or service desk environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of hardware, Windows and general networking
• Confident dealing directly with users
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID/Azure AD is desirable
• Able to work at pace and manage a varied workload

Location: On-site in Belfast
Duration: 3-month temporary post
Salary: £30k- £35k DOE
