Internal Sales Account Manager

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 + Bonus

We are recruiting for an established, fourth-generation manufacturing business employing approximately 100 people across four sites.

Working closely with the Commercial Director and External Account Manager, you will help manage a busy portfolio of customers and ensure orders run smoothly from initial enquiry through to delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as a key day-to-day contact for customers

• Processing and managing a high volume of customer orders

• Onboarding new customers

• Liaising with technical, production and commercial teams to ensure orders are fulfilled

• Supporting External Account Managers with their customer portfolios

• Taking ownership of a portfolio of smaller accounts

• Identifying opportunities to add value and develop customer relationships

• Occasionally visiting customers to gather feedback and review service levels

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone personable, organised and commercially aware who is comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving environment.

Experience within internal sales, account management, customer service or order management would be ideal, particularly within a manufacturing, packaging or similar environment.

Strong systems experience and the ability to remain calm while managing multiple customer requirements will be important.

Salary: £35,000-£40,000, plus a £3,000-£4,000 merit-based bonus.
