MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Health, Safety and Environmental Officer for our client, a leading manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established organisation, supporting the HSE Manager across health, safety and environmental activities while driving compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the HSE Manager in delivering HSE policies and objectives
  • Maintain HSE systems in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
  • Lead risk assessments and support incident investigations
  • Deliver HSE inductions, training and safety communications
  • Support PTW, LOTO, COSHH, HAVS and contractor controls
  • Assist with audits, RIDDOR and wider regulatory compliance
  • Support environmental compliance and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
  • 1+ year's HSE Officer experience
  • Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and risk management
  • ISO 45001 experience; ISO 14001 desirable
  • Experience with audits, incident investigations and continuous improvement
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Manufacturing, engineering or industrial experience advantageous
