MCS Group are proud to be partnering with a major organisation in their search for an HR Systems Specialist. This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience across HR and Payroll processes, HR or corporate systems, system testing, data cleansing and end-user support, with the ability to work collaboratively across HR, ICT and external system providers.
The Role:
- Identify and implement improvements across HR systems and processes, working with stakeholders and system providers to develop specifications and change requests.
- Plan and complete system testing for patches, upgrades and system changes, ensuring functionality meets requirements and design specifications.
- Provide specialist support across HR and Payroll systems, troubleshooting issues and working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective resolutions.
- Support the implementation of a new integrated HR & Payroll system, including system design, build, testing, data cleansing and validation.
- Provide advice and training to end users, developing training materials to support new systems, processes and changes.
- Lead data cleansing and ongoing audit activity to maintain the accuracy, quality and integrity of HR data.
- Contribute to HR digital improvement initiatives, system developments and projects across the Total Reward and wider HR directorate.
The Person
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Essential:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade C or above, including English Language and Maths, or equivalent.
- Detailed knowledge and experience of HR and Payroll processes
- Experience working with HR, corporate or financial systems.
- Experience of payroll processes and regulations, system testing and providing assurance of system functionality.
- Experience using reporting systems and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
