If you're an HR professional looking to take the next step, this could be a great opportunity to broaden your experience and work closely with both the HR and operational teams within a busy Supply Chain environment.
You'll be involved across the full HR function, with exposure to employee relations, recruitment, performance and absence management, engagement and HR operations. It's a hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with managers, support employees and get involved in wider HR initiatives and continuous improvement.
The Role
You'll work closely with managers and colleagues to provide a responsive HR service, while supporting the wider HR team with continuous improvement and HR initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, induction, probation, offboarding and employee changes.
- Supporting managers with performance, absence, engagement and employee relations matters.
- Assisting with investigations, disciplinary meetings and hearings, including note-taking and drafting correspondence.
- Providing advice and guidance on HR policies and employment legislation.
- Working with external recruitment agencies on resourcing requirements.
- Supporting payroll queries and HR reporting/KPIs.
- Supporting the HRBP with employee engagement and development initiatives.
- Getting involved in company branding and community programmes.
- Acting as a point of contact for employees, providing HR advice and support.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems.
What we're looking for
- A qualification in HR, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- CIPD qualified or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar HR role.
- Good working knowledge of employment legislation.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work on your own initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good Microsoft Office and analytical skills.
- A flexible, team-focused approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
