The main responsibilities

  • Support employment tax reviews, working closely with HR and Finance to ensure relevant processes and employee information are accurate.
  • Support payroll compliance and related HR processes.
  • Assist with contractual and policy work, including company perks such as cars, mileage and expenses.
  • Support internal contractual changes and employee consultation processes.

  • Support timesheet and payroll authorisation processes as required.
  • Provide practical, common-sense HR advice and support throughout projects.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure agreed actions are followed through.

The ideal candidate

  • Previous experience in an HR generalist, HR project or HR consultancy role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, contracts and policies.
  • Experience supporting change, process improvement or HR projects.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR compliance.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • A practical, common-sense approach with the confidence to make decisions and solve problems.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and managing project-based work.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or a relevant degree.
  • Experience working within a large, complex or fast-moving organisation would be advantageous.

What's on offer?

  • Competitive salary
