HR Business Partner - Technology - Belfast - Global role

MCS Group is partnering with global financial services organisation, to recruit an HR Business Partner on a 12 month contract basis, for its global technology division. Based in Belfast, you will work with senior leaders across multiple locations, helping them navigate organisational change, plan future capability and make sound people decisions in a fast-moving environment.

This is a hands-on business partnering role with genuine global reach. You will work closely with the global HR lead for Technology and draw on the support of established HR Operations, Employee Relations, Reward and Talent Acquisition teams.

The role

• Build credible relationships with senior technology leaders, offering practical advice and constructive challenge.
• Support workforce transformation, including changes to team structures, roles and locations.
• Partner with leaders on workforce planning, talent, succession and future skills, including the impact of AI.
• Help develop job architecture and clearer career pathways across a range of technology disciplines.
• Manage employee relations matters and people risk, working with specialist colleagues where needed.
• Use people data and insights to identify issues, track progress and support decisions.
• Coordinate with HR colleagues across regions to deliver consistent support to the business.

About you

You will be an experienced HR Business Partner who is comfortable working at pace, influencing senior stakeholders and following through on complex priorities. You will bring strong employee relations knowledge, sound judgement and experience supporting organisational change.

Experience partnering with technology teams would be particularly useful, as would an understanding of roles such as software engineering and product ownership. Above all, you will be proactive, commercially aware and able to turn broad people priorities into action.

The position is based in Belfast with hybrid working, typically three days in the office with a very competitive base salary.
