The Opportunity

MCS Group are partnering with an established business to recruit an HR Advisor. Joining an experienced HR team, you will provide practical advice to managers and support a broad range of people initiatives across multiple sites.

The Role

Reporting to the HR Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Advising managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.
• Supporting recruitment, on boarding and the wider employee life cycle.
• Coaching managers to apply HR policies consistently and manage people effectively.
• Supporting the delivery of learning and development initiatives, employee engagement activities and well being programmes.
• Using HR reporting to identify trends and contributing to HR projects, process improvements and organisational change.

About You

• Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a multi-site environment.
• Experience managing complex employee relations cases and advising managers.
• Strong working knowledge of Northern Ireland employment law and experience applying it in practice are essential.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification is essential.
• Experience using HR systems and producing HR reports.
• Willingness to travel across Northern Ireland to support operational sites.
