HR Advisor - Belfast

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a varied, fast-paced role where you can build on your experience and get involved across a broad range of HR activities?

We're exclusively recruiting for an HR Advisor to join an award-winning construction organisation with operations across NI, GB and ROI. This is a great opportunity to join a growing HR team, gain exposure across different areas of the business and play a key role in supporting both employees and managers.

The Role

As HR Advisor you will join an established team, supporting the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on Recruitment and ER. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety, and you'll have the opportunity to work with different teams and stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end recruitment
• Supporting careers fairs, mock interviews and recruitment activities
• Advising managers on employee relations, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and probation
• Supporting social value and employment initiatives across projects
• Developing and delivering HR-related training
• Supporting monthly HR reporting across recruitment, training, absence and turnover
• Supporting health and wellbeing initiatives
• Assisting with HR policies and procedures
• Supporting the company's wider ESG strategy
• Contributing to Diversity Mark and Investors in People initiatives
• Regular travel to sites and involvement in careers and community activities

About You

• CIPD or relevant qualification
• Previous HR experience
• Strong employee relations experience
• Good end-to-end recruitment experience
• Experience supporting and advising line managers
• A good understanding of HR policies and employment legislation
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A proactive, approachable personality
• Construction, manufacturing or another fast-paced environment would be advantageous
