Health and Safety Officer

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Health & Safety Officer for our client, Ireland's leading recycler of organic waste. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing environmental business, supporting Health & Safety across multiple operational sites while driving compliance, continuous improvement and a positive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct accident, incident and near-miss investigations
• Lead Health & Safety audits, inspections and site risk assessments
• Develop Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments and Safe Systems of Work
• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and Health & Safety training
• Promote a positive safety culture across multiple operational sites
• Support HSENI inspections and compliance with ISO management systems

About You

• 2+ years' Health & Safety experience within an operational environment
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
• Experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
• Experience in manufacturing, recycling, waste, logistics or a similar industry is desirable
