Finance Transformation PM

MCS Group are proud to be partnering with an organisation in their search for a Finance Transformation Programme Manager. This is a key appointment within a significant finance transformation programme, including the implementation of a new finance system and the development of a more streamlined, efficient and modern finance function.

The Role:

· Lead the end-to-end delivery of a significant finance transformation programme, ensuring key objectives and outcomes are achieved.

· Oversee multiple workstreams across systems, people, processes and organisational change, managing priorities, timelines and resources effectively.

· Lead the implementation of a new finance system, working closely with internal teams, suppliers and implementation partners.

· Review and improve existing finance processes, identifying opportunities to simplify, automate and improve efficiency.

· Lead change and adoption activity, ensuring stakeholders are engaged, supported and equipped to work effectively through transformation.

· Establish strong programme governance, monitoring risks, dependencies, budgets and progress and providing clear updates to senior stakeholders.

· Build strong relationships across the organisation, constructively challenge where required and drive continuous improvement and new ideas.

The Person

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Essential:

· Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience delivering financial business and systems transformation.

· Proven experience successfully delivering organisation-wide transformation projects across a diverse range of stakeholders.

· Experience of finance systems procurement and implementation, alongside supporting organisational adoption and change.

· Strong programme management experience, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, challenging deadlines and third-party suppliers.

What's in it for you?

· Salary: £49,000 - £60,000 per annum

· Hybrid working, with 2 days per week based in Belfast

· 9-12 month contract
