Finance Manager

MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a market leading manufacturing and e-commerce business as they look to appoint a Finance Manager to join their established finance team.

The Company

Our client is an award-winning business and a recognised leader within its sector, supplying customers across both Ireland and the UK. With continued investment in technology and operational excellence, the business has built an outstanding reputation for quality, innovation and customer service.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Finance Manager to support the Finance Director in the day to day running of the finance function. This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to make a genuine impact by leading the transactional finance team, driving process improvements and helping optimise a recently implemented ERP system.

The Rewards

As the successful Finance Manager, you will receive:

• £50,000 - £60,000 base salary

The Role

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will be responsible for:

• Leading and developing a small finance team, overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts
• Managing working capital and supporting effective cash flow management
• Ensuring robust financial controls and the smooth running of day to day finance operations
• Driving continuous process improvements across the finance function
• Supporting the optimisation and ongoing development of the company's Sage ERP system

The Person

The successful Finance Manager will meet the following criteria:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Experience producing management accounts within a commercial environment
• Background within manufacturing, e-commerce or another stock-focused business would be highly advantageous
• Strong systems skills with previous ERP experience; Sage experience would be beneficial
• Confident communicator with a proactive approach and the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced business
