Field Service Engineer

MCS Group is delighted to support a growing engineering business in recruiting a Field Service Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineer who enjoys hands-on engineering, fault-finding and working with industrial machinery.

The Role

• Install and commission equipment at customer sites.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical and control system faults.
• Work with three-phase systems, pumps, motors, control panels and instrumentation.
• Maintain and repair automated industrial machinery.

What I am looking for:

• Recognised electrical or mechanical engineering qualification or apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Strong multi-skilled electro-mechanical maintenance experience.
• Background in industrial machinery, manufacturing, maintenance or field service.
• Experience with electrical fault-finding, mechanical repairs and automated equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of three-phase systems and safe isolation.
• Full driving licence.
