MCS Group is partnering with an established manufacturing group to recruit an ERP Transformation Analyst for a major business systems implementation.

The business is replacing its legacy systems with a new ERP System. You will work closely with operational users, IT colleagues and external implementation partners to help translate business requirements into practical processes, accurate data and a successful rollout.

You will join an established project team supported by programme leadership, project management, developers and BI specialists. This is an opportunity to build on previous ERP experience and take on broader responsibility within a significant transformation programme.

The role

  • Gather requirements and map current and future processes across finance, sales, purchasing, production, stock and despatch.
  • Translate operational requirements into functional specifications, workflows and system improvements.
  • Support data migration through SQL queries, data checking and reconciliation.
  • Help develop operational and management reporting using Power BI.
  • Prepare UAT scripts, coordinate user testing, gather feedback and track issues through to resolution.
  • Support cutover, go-live and post-implementation activity.
  • Produce clear process guides and deliver training for colleagues with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Work with users across sites to support consistent processes and adoption of the new system.

What you'll bring

  • Previous experience supporting or delivering an ERP implementation, ideally through a full project lifecycle.
  • A combination of business analysis skills and hands-on technical capability.
  • Practical SQL experience, including querying databases and validating data.
  • Reporting experience, ideally using Power BI.
  • Experience gathering requirements, mapping processes, coordinating UAT and supporting users through change.
  • An understanding of manufacturing processes such as production planning, bills of materials, purchasing, inventory or order processing.
  • Clear communication skills and confidence working with operational teams, technical colleagues and senior stakeholders.

Around five years of relevant experience would be ideal, although candidates with strong practical delivery experience who are ready for a step up will also be considered.

Previous Acumatica experience is welcome but is not essential. Experience with systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, Sage or comparable ERP platforms is relevant. Training on the new platform will be provided.

The opportunity

  • Join a substantial ERP transformation with an established delivery team.
  • Gain experience across multiple businesses and sites.
  • Combine process improvement, systems delivery, data and user engagement.
  • Work on a hybrid basis

The position is offered on an 18-month fixed-term basis. An extension may be available depending on project requirements.
