Project Manager

North Belfast / £40,000-£55,000 / Permanent
Condensed working week: Monday to Thursday, with one Friday in four worked

MCS Group is working with a growing business in North Belfast to recruit a hands-on Project Manager. This is an opportunity to take a major ERP upgrade through go-live, then lead further projects across data integration, reporting and business systems.

The business manages the secure collection, data erasure, recycling and resale of technology. Its systems track physical assets through each stage of that journey, so the projects you deliver will have a direct impact on day-to-day operations and client reporting.

The role

Your first priority will be completing an ERP upgrade. You'll work closely with Operations, Finance, Technology, external suppliers and senior stakeholders. This is a lean environment where you'll be trusted to bring structure, keep actions moving and resolve issues without adding unnecessary process.

What we're looking for

• Project management experience, with exposure to an ERP or major business-system implementation.

• The right attitude and confidence in upskilling in areas where lacking experience

• Evidence of taking a project through go-live, or playing a substantial role in testing, cutover and rollout.

• Strong planning, stakeholder communication and supplier management skills.

• The ability to gather requirements, understand business processes and work confidently with technical teams.

• An interest in data integration, reporting or BI; direct delivery experience in these areas would be an advantage.

• A proactive, practical approach and the confidence to challenge delays and drive decisions.

Experience in manufacturing, logistics, recycling, distribution or another operational business would be useful, but your approach and track record of getting projects delivered matter most.

What's on offer

• £40,000-£55,000 salary, depending on experience.

• Quarterly bonus linked to personal KPIs, plus an annual company performance element.

• Ownership of a defined ERP go-live, followed by a broader pipeline of systems and data projects.
