CAD/BIM/Revit Automation Specialist

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting for a CAD / BIM / Revit Automation Specialist to join a growing technical team based in Belfast.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone more than just a CAD or Revit user. I am looking for a technically strong specialist who understands how these systems work behind the scenes and can use automation to improve efficiency, consistency and output across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage high-quality models and drawings in Revit and AutoCAD
• Automate repetitive modelling, drafting and data extraction tasks
• Extract model properties and parameters into Excel, CSV and schedules
• Build and maintain Revit templates, parametric families, dynamic blocks and lookup tables
• Troubleshoot complex model/software issues and optimise performance
• Ensure work meets agreed CAD and BIM standards

About You

• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
• Experience with Dynamo and/or AutoLISP
• Strong experience creating parametric Revit Families and Dynamic Blocks
