MCS are delighted to introduce an exciting opportunity for an experienced and creative Brand Marketing Manager to join a growing, established consumer brand business based in Belfast.
The successful candidate will take ownership of brand strategy, content and community engagement across two established lifestyle brands, with responsibility for strengthening brand awareness, engagement and customer advocacy across UK and international markets.
Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will work closely with sales, customer service and e-commerce teams. You will also manage an in-house graphic design team and oversee relationships with external agencies, influencers and creative partners.
This is a hands-on and commercially focused role, ideal for an experienced brand marketer who combines strategic thinking with creativity and enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own brand-led content plans to increase engagement across both brands.
- Create compelling visual and written content aligned with each brand's tone of voice and positioning.
- Develop brand narratives, product stories and range-focused content.
- Establish and maintain brand guidelines, style guidelines and overall brand vision.
- Develop and manage social media strategies across relevant platforms.
- Build meaningful relationships with influencers, creators and brand partners.
- Develop online collaborations, partnerships and events that increase brand visibility.
- Drive engagement, preference and advocacy as the business expands its wholesale, export and online presence.
- Support e-commerce, wholesale and export advertising activity.
- Build customer and product insights to inform brand activity and decision-making.
- Own budgets relating to brand activations, partnerships and events.
- Manage brand assets and relationships with external agencies and suppliers.
- Assist with the design and delivery of trade shows.
About You
They are looking for a creative and commercially minded brand marketing professional with a strong track record of building brands through content, partnerships, collaboration and social media.
You will ideally have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years' recent experience in a senior brand marketing role.
- Proven experience in brand building, content creation, partnerships and social media management.
- Strong knowledge of branding, storytelling, community building, tone of voice and brand positioning.
- Experience managing brands across multiple markets.
- Proven commercial and budget management skills, including negotiation experience.
- The ability to think strategically and identify emerging opportunities and trends.
- A creative, analytical and solutions-focused approach.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills and an understanding of project management principles.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Previous people-management experience, ideally within a creative or design environment.
- The ability to work autonomously, use initiative and operate effectively within a small team.
Desirable Experience
The following would be advantageous:
- Experience within the clothing, fashion or outerwear sector.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop or similar design software.
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp.
- Knowledge of current trends and technologies in graphic design, web design and creative production.
- A full, clean driving licence.
