A industry leading organisation based in Ballymena are seeking a commercially minded Assistant Accountant to join the organisation.

The Rewards

As the successful Assistant Accountant you will receive:

• Salary: £30,000 - £38,000(Depending on experience)
• Study Support.

• Full end to end accountancy exposure with training provided.

The Role

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process the purchase/sales ledger invoices for the organisation.
• Conducting weekly cash reporting, cash forecasting, and bank reconciliations.
• Preparing monthly VAT returns.
• Assist in the payroll for a part of the organisation.

The Person

The successful Assistant Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Accountancy software experience.
• Ability to prioritise tasks.
• Being part-qualified or accounts technician qualified is desirable.
