Assistant Accountant- Armagh (Exclusive)

The Company:
Our client is a leading electrical engineering and contracting business based in Armagh, delivering projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe. The organisation works across commercial, industrial and data centre projects and continues to expand its operations.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing finance team in a commercially focused role, working closely with senior stakeholders to influence strategic decision-making within a fast-paced, international environment.

The Role:
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the Assistant Accountant will have the unique opportunity to manage the Portuguese entity, and will be responsible for:

• VAT Preparation
• Bank reconciliations
• Creditor Management
• Managing delivery dockets
• Payroll reconciliations
• Other ad hoc duties outlined in the job specification

The Person:
The successful Assistant Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience
• String experience in a similar role
• Strong IT skills.
