AI Software Engineer - Belfast

We're working with a leading global organisation that is expanding its AI team in Belfast and looking for an AI Software Engineer to join the team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building AI solutions, particularly across the Microsoft AI and Power Platform ecosystem.

The role

You'll be responsible for designing and building AI-powered solutions for a range of clients.

You'll work with technologies such as:

• Microsoft Copilot Studio

• AI Builder

• Power Apps

• Power Automate

• AI agents and agentic AI

• Backend development

• Data and AI technologies

We're open on your backend programming language. Experience with Python, C#, Java or other backend languages is all relevant.

The role isn't purely development. You'll also work with clients to understand requirements, explain technical solutions and help turn ideas into working AI products.

What we're looking for

You could come from a range of technical backgrounds, including:

• Software Engineering

• AI / Machine Learning

• Data Science

• Data Engineering

• Power Platform development

• AI Engineering

You don't need to tick every box.

We're particularly interested in people with hands-on experience building software or AI solutions who are keen to develop further within AI.

Experience with Copilot Studio, Power Platform, AI agents or agentic AI would be highly desirable, but we're open to strong software engineers with the right technical foundation and Hands on experience in AI.

You should also be comfortable speaking with clients and explaining how an AI solution could solve a real business problem.
