MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a multi national organisation who are seeking an Account Payable Team Lead to oversee an important function within the finance department.

As the successful Accounts Payable Team Lead you will receive:

• Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 (Depending on experience).

The Role

Reporting directly to the Trade & Compliance Manager, the Accounts Payable Team Lead will be responsible for:

• Manage the operations of the accounts payable function.
• Provide training and guidance to the wider team.
• Ensure all vendor invoices are processed accurately, efficiently, and within required deadlines.
• Oversee all month-end and year-end activities related to accounts payable.
• Support the implementation and improvement of systems, policies, and procedures as required.

The Person

The successful Accounts Payable Team Lead will meet the following criteria:

• Solid end to end experience and understanding of the accounts payable process.
• Team lead/supervisory experience.
• Good Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communicator and ability to give clear direction.
