Sarah McCann

Sarah McCann joined MCS Group in September 2019 and is Head of IT Recruitment for Northern Ireland. She works directly with clients and candidates across the local tech sector, supporting senior hiring decisions and career moves. Her role includes advising organisations on recruitment strategy, managing the full hiring process, and maintaining long-term relationships within the market. Sarah focuses on helping companies secure the right leadership talent to support growth and change.

She specialises in the IT sector in Northern Ireland, with a focus on senior leadership roles. She typically works with start-ups, SMEs, and new FDI organisations establishing teams in Belfast.  Sarah is involved in the local tech community, attending networking events and sharing leading market insights. She has strong expertise in supporting new companies launching in Belfast and takes a particular interest in initiatives that encourage women in technology.

Before joining MCS, Sarah worked as a primary school teacher and spent time travelling across Australia and New Zealand.  Outside of work, she is a mum and enjoys travelling and discovering new cultures and local food scenes.
