Group Bid and Insights Manager

Peter Stevens joined MCS Group in November 2020 and is the Group Bid and Insights Manager. He leads bid strategy and recruitment intelligence for MCS Group and Honeycomb Jobs, leading complex bids and framework opportunities in both the private and public sectors across the United Kingdom, Ireland and the United States. Peter is involved in the full lifecycle of the bid and proposal process, from identifying opportunities and conducting bid/no-bid evaluations through to developing win themes, technical content and pricing strategies. He also plays a key role in contract handover, solution design and implementation following award.

Peter specialises in bid strategy, recruitment intelligence and labour market insight. He works across a wide range of sectors, with particular experience supporting organisations in IT, FMCG, Financial Services, Professional Services and the Public Sector, including both local and central government.

Alongside bid leadership, Peter leads the organisation’s research and insights capability, helping clients take a data-led approach to talent acquisition through market mapping, compensation benchmarking and competitor intelligence.

Before joining MCS Group, Peter was Head of Research for an Executive Search firm and also worked as an internal recruitment manager.

He is a member of the CIPD and APMP, a Fellow of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation, and holds APMP Foundation and Practitioner qualifications, alongside a CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice and a REC Certificate in Recruitment Practice.

Outside of work, Peter is an avid reader, a despairing Manchester United supporter, and a wannabe distance runner.
