Employment Tax and Payroll Senior Associate /Assistant Manager - Belfast (Hybrid)

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an established Top 10 Practice located in Belfast, looking to recruit for a Employment Tax and Payroll Senior Associate /Assistant Manager on a full time, permanent basis.

The firm provides a broad range of services including audit, accounting, corporate finance, forensic analysis, tax, and payroll support. Job Duties of the Employment Tax and Payroll Senior Associate /Assistant Manager include:

  • Advise a varied portfolio of clients on employment tax compliance and advisory matters.
  • Work across P11Ds, PAYE, Benefits-in-Kind, IR35, CIS, share schemes and global mobility projects.
  • Support HMRC enquiries, tax due diligence and employer compliance reviews.
  • Build trusted client relationships while working alongside a highly experienced Employer Solutions team.
  • Develop your career in a genuinely advisory-focused role with clear progression opportunities.

What you need to be the Successful Employment Tax and Payroll Senior Associate /Assistant Manager

  • ATT qualified or studying towards CTA is desirable
  • Experience within the tax department of a professional services firm.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines and work on their own initiative.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A genuine ambition to develop a successful career in tax.
