Assistant Accountant

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a hospitality organisation based in Belfast city centre as they seek an Assistant Accountant on a full time, permanent basis.

The Role:

• Calculation of accruals and prepayments
• Maintenance of fixed asset ledger
• Maintenance of intercompany accounts.
• Preparation of month end reconciliations.
• Assist with the timely production of monthly management accounts
• Assist with the timely production of the Group's VAT returns.
• Assist in the preparation of the Group's annual financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation of files for annual audit.
• Other duties outlined in the job description

What You Need to Succeed?

• At least 2 years experience in a similar role
• Extensive knowledge of bookkeeping skills
• Strong analytical skills
