A leading public sector organisation based in Belfast is seeking an experienced Systems Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery and implementation of a critical Customer Relationship and Case Management System (CRM/CMS).
This is a hands-on role where you will drive the practical implementation of a new platform, oversee data migration from legacy systems, and champion process re-engineering across diverse teams. You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure successful system adoption, automation, and deliver improved user and customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Lead the end-to-end implementation of the new CRM/CMS platform, managing configuration, integration's, data migration, testing, and training through to a successful go-live.
- Process Optimisation: Review existing processes using lean principles to reduce complexity, eliminate manual workarounds, and embed intelligent automated workflows or AI applications.
- Vendor Management: Act as the primary interface with third-party technology suppliers and implementation partners, holding them accountable for timelines, quality, and deliverables.
- Change Management: Develop and execute communication, training, and support plans to ensure high adoption levels and capability uplift across internal staff and external associates.
- Governance & Reporting: Establish robust project governance, track budgets, manage risks/dependencies, and provide regular, clear progress updates to the Senior Management Team.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all system transformation activities comply with relevant regulatory, financial, data protection, and information security standards.
Essential Criteria
Candidates must clearly demonstrate the following qualification and experience on their application to be considered:
- Qualification: A formal, recognised Project Management Qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience successfully managing system transformation projects from conception to implementation and embedding.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: A proven track record of working with diverse cross-functional stakeholders and managing third-party technology suppliers or implementation partners.
- Delivery Skills: Proven experience managing multiple work-streams, complex project priorities, and challenging deadlines.
- Technical Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams, operational staff, and senior leadership.
- Mobility: Possession of a full, current UK driving licence and access to a car for business travel (reasonable adjustments will be fully considered for applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence).
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working within clinical, health, or public sector service environments.
- Practical knowledge of implementing modern workflow automation and emerging AI business tools.
- Formal Project Management Framework Certification (PRINCE2/Agile)
