We're working with a Belfast-based data and AI consultancy who are growing and delivering some genuinely interesting projects across financial services.

They're looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join them on a client-facing project focused on modernising data platforms - specifically migrating from legacy systems into more scalable, cloud-based environments.

This is a great opportunity to work closely with both business stakeholders and engineering teams, playing a key role in delivering data-driven solutions.

🚀 The Role

• Work directly with clients to gather and define requirements
• Act as the bridge between stakeholders and technical teams
• Translate business needs into clear user stories and technical specs
• Support delivery across the full project lifecycle
• Work on data-focused projects including platform migrations
• Collaborate in Agile teams using tools like Jira and Confluence

🧠 What They're Looking For

• Experience as a Business Analyst in data or analytics projects
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation
• Comfortable working in a client-facing environment
• Experience translating business requirements into technical outputs
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments

➕ Nice to Have

• Exposure to modern data platforms (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, Hadoop)
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments
• Background in a consultancy or technical environment
