MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for our client, a well-established civil engineering consultancy delivering infrastructure and structural engineering projects across the UK and Ireland.
This role will involve providing quantity surveying and cost management services across civil engineering projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, design teams, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial and cost management aspects of projects
  • Prepare bills of quantities, schedules of work, and pre-tender estimates
  • Support tender reviews and procurement activities
  • Provide commercial support to project and design teams
  • Attend project meetings, site visits, and client consultations
  • Monitor project costs and ensure quality assurance procedures are followed


About You

  • Minimum 5 years' Quantity Surveying experience
  • Strong NEC and Public Works contract experience
  • Experience within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills


Qualifications

  • Chartered Quantity Surveyor (RICS or SCSI)
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
